The place can prove tricky to find but when you get there, you are trully in the middle of a peaceful figues heaven.....
Francis and his lovely wife Jacqueline opened their Figues grove in 1968 and have, since then, dedicated their life to this gorgeous and tasty fruits. They travel around the world during the winter season to find some new figue trees.
So far they have 4 000 trees with 150 different types of figues allowing them to pick from June to late October.
When you arrive, Francis will surely be around to greet you, have you to taste some fresh figues and tell you jokes.
He'll tell you the story of the figues and is probably one of the very few person in the region able to answer any question you may have.
The lovely (and tiny) shed in the garden is the shop were you'll be able to taste as much as 10 products of his farm. His sweet jam (with orange from Seville, with almond, walnut, spices...) or his savoury chutneys, mustard, vinegar....
And if you are here around noon, you will be able to enjoy his garden for free. Either sitting on one of the "so french" outside plastic chairs and table or sitting under the shade of the figues trees or the hazelnuts trees. (Best to check that no group are booked on the day).
Anyhow, an adventure you wont regret....
